FURTHER ACTION.

The place of Hong Kong in the

promotion of Anglo-Chinese cultural

relations has been emphasized in the

Colony's centenary year by two recent

benefactions connected with the University of

Hong Kong.

The Rhodes Trustees have decided

to establish Studentships to be held at

Oxford University over the next five years by

one or more Chinese or Chinese British

subjects who have graduated at Hong Kong

University. These studentships will be

called "Rhodes Trust Post-graduate

Studentships" and the holders of them will

be nominated by the Governing Body of Hong

Kong
